Two nights ago, high school phenom Brittney Griner made SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays with some great blocks and some impressive drop step dunks. The 6′8” junior has committed to Baylor, and is expected to grow another inch by her senior year. Here is a video that goes more in depth into the legend of Brittney Griner.

If she’s going to Baylor she’s gonna learn under one of the best. Louisiana Tech is still kicking themselves for the way they mishandled Kim Mulkey’s situation when Leon Barmore retired and let her walk to Baylor. Haven’t seen this young lady play yet but if she’s gonna be a Lady Bear she surely will get the most out of her talent.
Agree with sportsattitude. Once she gets coached up U.Conn and Tennessee could be in trouble. Womens B-Ball has come a long ways in the last few years, with club and travel teams. The game has evolved. Still waiting for a female to save the W.N.B.A.
I remember hearing about her not too long ago. Astounding stuff.
That is flat out scary. And she hasn’t even come close to her skill potenial. She makes me want to watch more women’s college basketball.
