Yea man I am glad you made the website, maybe now when you are debating in the dorms you can use what we said to sound really smart in front of your friends.

12. Marquis Chapman - August 31, 2007

haha. That’s exactly the reason why I started it. I wanted to hear what other people had to say about the things we were talking about.

13. FemaleFan - September 3, 2007

Finally a site females can follow without getting lost in the hype and are able to participate in dialogue on various subjects related to all sports. I agree with lunawolf. Sometimes it’s nice to look at something other than the stats. Nice site. It seems to keep getting better and better. Keep up the good work!

14. Marquis Chapman - September 3, 2007

Thanks. My #1 goal was make All Talk more than just stats and facts. I wanted to have great articles and intresting concepts. Glad you like the site.

15. Mr. Insider - September 3, 2007

Nice start Mr. Chapman. I like the look of the site, and you have alot of fun topics to chat about. I will have thoughts to share and thanks for making this available.

Your friend, Mr. Insider

16. Mr. Insider - September 6, 2007

Got an idea for you. I really like the choices of talking about hot topics (the Vick one has me boiling, which is what you want to get from us readers). Why not list several every week or month. Maybe keep hot ones like Vick going even while he is doing his time, and after. Be interesting to track comments on that topic.

Maybe add an NCAAF topic weekly. CAL (gee there is a surprise) is poised for a great year and potential BCS bowl. But wait, we were last year until we totally blew the game against Arizona and ended up 10-3. Five years ago I would have given a toe to have a CAL 10-3 season! So expectations really can change, right?

Also, how about a Barry Bonds hot chat line? Lots to talk about there. He is a fascinating man, a real actor on the stage of life. Charming and friendly or a withdrawn and hostile fellow. But a true presence in the history of MLB and sports.

Anyway, nice website! Mr. Insider

17. Marquis Chapman - September 7, 2007

Thanks for the advice Mr. Insider. I will definitly try to improve the site using some of your ideas.

Your site has a wide variety of topics which have generated some interesting comments, thoughts and opinions which I’m sure was the objective here. Readers are passionate about their feelings, open to each others opinions and most importantly are respectful to each other in their comments. This site has something of interest for every sports fan. Even the most knowledgeable sports fan can learn a thing or two. Great job!

Just bear in mind that TV sports entertainment is NOT real, honest or clean. It is a rigged quiz show.

Essential WWE elements of all TV sports:
Doping (everyone is on steroid, insulin, corticoids and amphetamines)
Illegal gaming (boosts the TV ratings btw)
TV commercials trump penalty calls, flags
corked bats are essential props
aging stars draw in older fans (Clemens, Bonds, Schilling, Glavine)
Inventing champions sells on emotion (Manning, Brady, Montana, Tiger, Pharmstrong, Kobe, Bush, McGwire, Clemens, Baroid)

All TV theater shows are programmed, scripted and rigged in many ways. Very little is as you think. The players are just laundry.

Enjoy it—but NEVER take it seriously and never believe anything an athlete says into a camera. They lie just as you breath air.

Nike says: LIVE WRONG! Swoosh, Lance Marion, Baroid, Kobe, Mike Vick all do.

Clear focus on the niche – The blog should be oriented in a way that you can describe your blog and the niche in
just a few short sentences. Thursdays are a great time to spend reflecting on your
favorite things and that is exactly what you can do with the Thursday Favorite
Things Blog Hop from Katherine’s Corner.
