With the recent meltdown of Oklahoma State’s Head Football Coach Mike Gundy, I thought we would take a slightly different direction in this edition of When Athletes Get Angry.  In this edition, we’ll focus on the people who coach the althletes.  Here are some of the most memorable videos of coaches getting angry.  I present to you… When Athletes Get Angry: Coaches Edition

I like the third one. They made a commercial about it and it’s an instant classic.

2. D.C. - September 26, 2007

It wouldn’t be too hard to find several on Bob Knight. The man has a dangerously explosive temper.

3. Marquis Chapman - September 26, 2007

The third one that was remade into a Coors commercial is hilarious. Bob Knight has to be the #1 coach that has had the most meltdowns. He really does have an explosive temper.

4. Eric Sampson - October 1, 2007

With very few exceptions, coaches are all spotlight prima dona’s. I know they live in a pressure cooker, especially on the proffesional level, but christ keep it cool gentlemen you are embarassing yourselves!!!!!

Big solid to Tony Dungy, I guess its easier coming off a Superbowl victory, but Tony has every personal reason in the world to break down, but he keeps it professional, and is consistently one of the classiest coaches in the biz.

5. K.C. - October 4, 2007

Why would anyone ever let there Son play for Bob Knight? I know he is a good X and O coach, and you cant argue with his accomplishments. I just can’t understand why he feels the need to humiliate his players. People in the know say behind closed doors he will do anything for his players. Even years after they have left his program. And there are a lot of ex-players who are extremely loyal to him. But I still don’t understand him???
