The New York Giants defeated the Dallas Cowboys 21-17 in the divisional playoffs.  Naturally, the fans and the media will point the finger at Tony Romo, but a very emotional Terrell Owens has Romo’s back on this one.

I find it very ironic that as many Q.B.s that he has trashed for no apparent reason he gets sentimental over Tony Romo. I think his emotion is sincere and he really wanted to win the super bowl. Maybe he is maturing and he is finally realizing you have to stick by your teammates.

T.O. aint maturing. he doesnt blame Romo, but i am sure he blames Jessica.

they lost to a very good Giants team who are going to beat the overrated Packers at Lambeau next weekend.

I don’t know. I’m going with the Packers on this one, but we’ll see.

a stand up guy.. i think that was big and selfless of him to stand up for the man who delivers him the ball. it takes a team to win and lose. i wasnt necessarily a dallas cowboys fan but theyll be back.. and i hope the do well..

R.I.P. Mr. Insider

I don’t doubt Owens’ being sincere about being upset they lost and the massive blame all headed Romo’s way, because he has a different relationship with him than with his earlier quarterbacks. He’s the veteran,”old guy” now…been around the block a few times… and Romo is a kid with very little experience. However, saying he’s had his quarterback’s back ALL the time is a crock. He “outed” Jeff Garcia when he was young and immature and ruined the 49ers. He went on to split the Eagles’ locker room in half and trashed Donovan McNabb repeatedly (though he seems to have come around recently and tried to make some amends). I was happy to see him support Romo as he did. Just don’t want people to forget he did some serious damage in similar situations when he was a young player like Romo is.

T.O. earned some points with me last night.. Great to see him finally grasp the concept of a team, and what it means to stand up for his teammates!

TO is a genius when it comes to dealing with the press. He is trying to get everyone’s sympathy to cover up his subpar performance. Plain and simple. Its obvious TO has most of you fooled.

prediction from my blog: farve will throw at least 2 INTs and be sacked at least 6 times. Giants will win.

The fist thing I wondered was what is he taking to be on such an emotional roller coaster?
