Now that Eli Manning has led the New York Giants to the Superbowl, I think Tiki Barber should .
should sign a quick one game deal just to be on the SB roster to warm the bench in hot Arizona.
Should apologize to Coach Tom Coughlin for doubting him and his methods. Oh and what Kidal said.
I agree with both above comments, and would like to add.. Points and *Nelson Voice* HA HA at Tiki.. Now you and Edge have something to talk about.. The year after both you guys leave the team, your former teams go to the Superbowl! Edge is behind the 2nd worst line in the league, and your sitting in a studio talking about your former teammates that you threw under the bus, going to the Superbowl!
I am not a fan of Eli or the N.Y. Giants, but I thought it was a foul move by Tiki to talk about his former teamate. I would have had more respect for him had he pulled Eli aside and told him how he felt. Instead of using his position as a sportsreporter to trash Eli and the Giants. Aint karma great…..
I agree Sportsattitude.
stay retired. Stay the hell away from the Giants. Eli does not need you. You were overrated and now you suck on the Today show.
Tiki was a great Giant but the Giants made him- when he first came into the league he couldn’t hold onto the ball. The Giants took a chance on him only because of Dave Meggette and Joe Morris small backs who worked well in the Giants O- We waited almost 5 years for Tiki to produce. He could been critical of the Giants which was Sports casters favorite hobby with out calling out Eli. Coughlin was fair game he’s a coach but Tiki could have learn from Howie Long or Bradshaw they can root for thier team and be critically analylis- Tiki though to much of himself but he is eating humble pie no but I have no doubt in a few years he will be succesful in TV but he wont be on a Giants sidelines i.e Harry Carson or LT in future Giants games which is what he should have been thinking.
Good point Phil.there is a world of difference between being analytical and trashing former teammates for your personal gain. Hes not the first to retire and don a coat and a tie and trash teammates. Sometimes networks love this because it garners interest and more people will tune in I remember a few years ago Charles Barkley was very critical of Kobe on T.N.T. Later on during the season T.N.T. actually had Kobe on the network and Charles went at him face to face. The difference is everybody knows that Chuck would have said the same thing to Kobe if he was a teamate . Its called being up front.
