Shaq Should Be in Those MasterCard Commercials January 26, 2008

Posted by Marquis Chapman in Basketball, NBA, Sports.

Shaq’s Monthly Expenses:

Vacations: $110,505

Gifts: $60,417

Clothes, Dry Cleaning, and Laundry: $23,950

Child Care: $46,500

Gas: $24,300

Food: $12,775

Mortgages for three homes: $468,345

Spending all this money, and it doesn’t even put a dent in your bank account…

I think Shaq should flush this season…see what Pat R has in mind for next year…and if the pieces aren’t in place for a run at the post-season he should gracefully step away from the game. I would love to see the guy go out on top but not in a hanging-on, “designated-hitter” role.

Try a MasterCard Commercial with Tiger or Lebron. Their next 3 generations are basically set.

When you are a star and you get a divorce your life becomes a open book. If the only thing that comnes out of this is his expenditures. He should consider himself lucky. I know Shaq is getting older, and I know he is often injured. But I think if he wants to he can reinvent himself and come back next year and play like his old self. Lets not forget : 7’0 300 lbs. with good feet, and a pretty decent skill set. I would take him on my team. If not with Miami maybe with someone else. I think if he is motivated he still has a couple of good years left.

@ KC
7’0 300 lbs wont mean anything if you’re already old and injury plagued.. face it dude, shaq is no more.. he’s just a shadow of his former self.. he was really really dominating when he was younger but now, he’s just an average player..
